OUR JOURNEY TO PITTI IMMAGINE UOMO 96

Pitti Immagine Uomo has come a long way since its debut in 1972 of what, over the years, would have become one of the greatest trade fair in Europe dedicated to the exposition of male clothing and accessories.

Now at its 96th edition, Pitti Immagine Uomo, is a biannual meeting place for Brands, who participate to display their new collections, and Buyers, who are there to select and finalize the purchase of new lines.

With this second stand we did for Serge Blanco at Pitti Immagine (if you haven’t seen it, visit here our metro inspired project at Pitti Immagine 95) we wanted to recreate an industrial greenhouse atmosphere, following the guidelines given by the Brand.

Before delving into the project itself, here’s two points you should keep in mind when designing a Trade fair stand:

1) What is the concept behind this stand, which is defined with the Brand;

2) How to manage and make the most of the space, depending on how do we want to manage people’s circulation, both inside and outside the booth?

You want to encourage them to enter from where you want, so that they can take the best journey of the stand and experience it as you designed.

With this Serge Blanco project, we decided to recreate a suggestive tropical space.

The main protagonist of this stand is the atmosphere itself: with more than 100 plants contained in cement terrariums, walls of industrial grids and wooden panels, mannequins and hanging looks, the visual impact is most impressive.
