On the 25th Anniversary, Infineon Technologies AG, a global semiconductor giant, is bridging the gap between technology and nature.
The installation ‘Matters to Me’ invites visitors to enter an imaginary forest, made not of leaves but of enormous luminous totems: large backlit parallelepipeds that breathe light, like digital tree trunks rooted in the future.
Their surfaces depict green landscapes, while a deep sound of nature flows, accompanying viewers through the installation and reminding them of the ultimate goal of innovation: a greener, more sustainable world that is more ours.
At the heart of this suspended space are 25 Wafers, perfect circles of silico, soul of Infineon's work and vision.
Each one is a small constellation of life: through QR codes, they give voice to a story, of those who create, who research, who imagine and who lead the transition.
Stories from around the globe of employees, partners, stakeholders and collaborators who together make up the human fabric of Infineon.
The work is an invitation to listen to what is often unseen: the silent energy of semiconductors, the human gesture that shapes them, the responsibility to transform the technology of the future.
